Savuti Game Reserve

The Predator Capital of Botwana

Savuti, a remote and wild region within Chobe National Park, is one of Africa’s most legendary wildlife destinations. Known for its dramatic predator-prey interactions, Savuti is a rugged land of open plains, dry riverbeds, and ancient rock formations. The region is dominated by the Savuti Channel, which mysteriously flows and dries up in unpredictable cycles, transforming the landscape between a lush wetland and an arid wilderness. This dynamic environment makes Savuti a prime destination for exceptional game viewing, particularly of lions and hyenas. Savuti is one of Botswana’s most thrilling safari destinations, offering some of the most intense predator action in Africa. Whether tracking lion prides, watching elephants at waterholes, or marvelling at ancient rock art, this wild region promises an unforgettable safari experience.
